What You’ll Be Doing:
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with high-net-worth and multinational clients through proactive communication and exceptional service.
- Leading the financial planning process using planning software to create customized strategies that help clients achieve their financial objectives.
- Preparing for and participating in client meetings, including portfolio reviews, financial analyses, and implementation of planning recommendations.
- Managing ongoing client service needs, including account maintenance, reporting, portfolio changes, and follow-up communications.
- Coordinating comprehensive wealth management strategies, including investment management, estate planning, tax-efficient planning, and risk management.
- Collaborating with internal team members to deliver a seamless client experience.
- Participating in Investment Committee and Financial Planning Committee meetings and contributing to special projects as needed.
- Helping ensure operational excellence while maintaining the firm’s high standards of fiduciary care and client experience.
What We’re Looking For:
- 12–15+ years of experience advising high-net-worth clients with a strong emphasis on comprehensive financial planning.
- Extensive experience using financial planning software (MoneyGuidePro preferred) as a core part of the client planning process.
- FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses, along with a Virginia Life & Health Insurance license.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required.
- CFP® designation preferred; candidates must be willing to obtain the CFP® certification if not already credentialed.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), CRM systems, portfolio management platforms, and financial planning software.
- Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build trust and credibility.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative, team-oriented approach combined with the initiative to thrive in a growing, entrepreneurial firm where flexibility and adaptability are essential.
