Judson Group has partnered with a prestigious, fast-growing national RIA to find a Head of Strategic Integration—a highly visible leadership role at the center of the firm’s expansion strategy. This individual will lead the end-to-end integration of acquired firms, ensuring a smooth transition for advisors, clients, and employees while preserving what makes each firm unique.

You’ll oversee a high-performing integration team and serve as the connective tissue across the organization—aligning internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced acquisition environment.

Why You’ll Love This Role:

  • Play a central role in shaping how the firm scales through acquisitions.
  • Partner closely with executive leadership and influence strategic decisions.
  • Design and refine the integration playbook that will guide future growth.
  • Help advisors and teams successfully transition and thrive within a larger platform.
  • Be part of a dynamic, acquisitive organization where momentum and innovation matter.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead the full integration lifecycle—from pre-acquisition diligence through post-close onboarding and optimization.
  • Build, refine, and scale a best-in-class integration playbook, including timelines, tools, and governance frameworks.
  • Serve as the primary point of leadership for integration efforts and as an escalation point for acquired firms.
  • Partner closely with executive leadership and department heads to align integration strategy with growth objectives.
  • Guide acquired firm leadership through the integration process, setting expectations and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Drive alignment across internal teams and external partners, including custodians, technology vendors, and consultants.
  • Lead change management efforts, helping advisors and staff transition smoothly across systems, processes, and operating models.
  • Develop clear, effective communication strategies that build trust and transparency throughout integration.
  • Oversee detailed project plans across multiple concurrent integrations, ensuring delivery on time and with minimal disruption.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks early—and proactively implement solutions.
  • Track integration performance and outcomes, using insights to continuously improve processes and scalability.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 10+ years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or professional services.
  • Direct experience leading post-acquisition integrations, ideally within the RIA or wealth management space required.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
  • Strong understanding of RIA operations, compliance, custodial relationships, and advisor technology ecosystems.
  • Experience operating in a high-growth, acquisitive environment is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional project and program management skills; formal certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) is a plus.
  • Ability to influence and lead across senior stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Strong executive presence with clear, confident communication skills.
  • Strategic mindset paired with a hands-on, execution-oriented approach.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven.
  • Collaborative leadership style with strong relationship management skills.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and managing multiple integrations simultaneously.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary and bonus
  • Comprehensive benefits package
