What You’ll Be Doing:
As an Associate Advisor, you’ll partner directly with Senior Wealth Advisors and Wealth Advisors to support the financial planning and investment management needs of clients. You’ll play a vital role in developing strategies, building financial plans, and contributing to an exceptional client experience.
Responsibilities:
- Support Senior and Wealth Advisors in delivering outstanding financial planning and investment management services.
- Collaborate on developing and implementing personalized financial strategies for clients.
- Participate in client meetings and help communicate financial recommendations clearly and effectively.
- Contribute to the full financial planning process, including:
- Creating and presenting comprehensive financial plans
- Preparing retirement projections, cash flow analysis, insurance reviews, education planning, and estate flow summaries
- Conducting research and working with clients’ other professionals (CPAs, attorneys, etc.)
- Identifying opportunities and risks based on clients’ overall financial pictures
- Field client questions, handle requests, and provide thoughtful, timely advice on a variety of financial topics.
- Perform special analyses (e.g., mortgage strategies, Social Security optimization) to help clients make informed decisions.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in finance, economics, accounting, business, or a related field).
- CFP® designation is strongly preferred—or must be earned within 12 months of hire.
- 2+ years of experience in financial services (experience with a fee-only RIA is ideal).
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with financial planning tools (MoneyGuidePro preferred).
- Experience with custodians such as Schwab and Fidelity, CRM systems, portfolio management, and document management software is a plus.
- A proactive, detail-oriented, and client-first mindset with strong communication skills.
