What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Wealth Advisor, you will engage in all aspects of financial planning and investment management, with a clear path toward greater autonomy and business development responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, personalized financial advice.
  • Provide second-chair support in client meetings with the goal of eventually taking the lead on managing relationships.
  • Design and implement comprehensive financial plans and investment strategies tailored to client goals.
  • Participate in and lead client meetings; clearly communicate planning concepts and recommendations.
  • Manage the financial planning process, including:
    • Creating and presenting financial plans
    • Developing retirement, cash flow, and insurance analyses
    • Preparing education funding and estate projections
    • Conducting research and coordinating with clients’ other professional advisors (e.g., CPAs, attorneys)
    • Identifying gaps, risks, and opportunities in clients’ financial lives
  • Handle client inquiries and deliver proactive, thoughtful guidance across a range of financial topics.
  • Perform specialized analyses (e.g., mortgage optimization, Social Security timing, etc.) to inform decision-making.
  • Must have a Leadership Mentality with a strong desire to contribute to all areas of the firm’s business.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related field.
  • CFP® certification is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry (ideally within a fee-only RIA environment).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with MoneyGuidePro (or other planning software), CRM systems, portfolio management tools, and document management software is a plus.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented professional with excellent communication skills and a passion for helping others succeed.
