Judson Group has been retained by a growing, multi-office RIA in the search for a Chief Operating Officer. This position is an integral member of the senior management team and reports to the President. This individual is responsible for coordinating the firm’s day-to-day operational management and has supervision of other employees. They will participate in the investment process, including ensuring the efficiency of the investment infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have proven leadership ability and experience leading various teams/team members, and experience participating in client relationships. Although this position will handle many tasks, they will not handle HR/Finance functions. Some travel between offices is expected.

Responsibilities:

• Provide overall leadership of the firm’s day-to-day operations, workflows, and procedures.
• Develop and maintain control of all business operations, ensuring efficiencies and tracked KPIs.
• Creates comprehensive goals for performance and growth strategies.
• Responsible for oversight of the firm’s support team members ensuring objectives are met.
• Attract, retain, and develop a high-performing team.
• Supervise client service reviews, structures, and overall client service experience.
• Oversee the firm’s relationships with external resource providers & vendors.
• Work to ensure maximum and efficient use of the firm’s technology resources, including CRM, financial planning software, portfolio accounting & reporting applications, and trade order management system.
• Collaborate with the Director of Marketing in leverage marketing efforts.

Requirements:

• BA/BS Degree; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant wealth management experience.
• Organized and detail oriented while managing and prioritizing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
