Judson Group is proud to be retained by a leading $3B AUM RIA in the search for a Trader who will play a key role within its centralized trading function. This is a hands-on opportunity for an early-career professional who enjoys the pace and precision of trade execution and wants meaningful exposure to portfolio implementation across a broad client base.

Working as part of a trading team, this individual will execute portfolio rebalancing, firm-wide model buy/sell decisions, and transition activity for new accounts. The right candidate will have 2+ years of relevant trading or investment operations experience, a solid understanding of capital markets, and the confidence to execute accurately in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Execute trades in support of portfolio rebalancing and investment decisions.
• Implement firm-wide model buy and sell activity across client accounts.
• Execute transition trades for new accounts as they move into established investment strategies.
• Trade primarily individual securities, with exposure to ETFs and other investment vehicles.
• Monitor orders and trading activity to ensure timely, accurate execution.
• Coordinate with portfolio management, operations, custodians, and other internal teams on trading-related activity.
• Maintain accurate trade records, allocations, and documentation.
• Help identify and implement improvements to trading workflows and processes.
• Support a high-volume centralized trading operation while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years of experience in a similar trading, investment operations, or related capacity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Investments, or a related field preferred.
• Familiarity with capital markets and investment products.
• Comfortable executing trades and making time-sensitive decisions with confidence.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong track record of accuracy.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with minimal errors.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with trading or portfolio management software; Tamarac experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with custodial platforms such as Fidelity and Schwab.
• Clean regulatory record required.
• Proactive, team-oriented approach with an interest in leveraging AI and technology to improve efficiency.
