Judson Group has been retained by a privately-held wealth management firm with over $5B AUM in the search for a Market Leader to oversee the overall client experience for the firm’s Winter Park office. Approximately a quarter of the firm’s clients are serviced by this team and as the local Partners step back from some day-to-day responsibilities, they need an experienced leader to be the face of the firm in the community to continue to grow the firm’s well-established presence.
In this critically important role, the Market Leader will oversee the marketplace presence and brand, coordinate business development efforts in the community through client acquisition and retention, manage client relationships, provide sound wealth planning advice and counsel, and work closely with all members of the team to exceed client expectations.
The ideal candidate has a strong wealth management background, client satisfaction focus, and a track record of client retention and business development success. Capability and interest in delivering the firm’s investment message is important. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for proactive relationship building with clients, centers of influence, and prospects for clients.
- An entrepreneurial approach to growing the firm through leveraging marketplace insights and opportunities.
- Coordinating business development efforts including active community engagement.
- Developing a relationship of trust with clients and effectively lead the management of client relationships in tandem with Portfolio Managers and other investment professionals assigned to the relationship.
- Initiate, prepare, and lead client formal contact meetings.
- Ongoing, proactive communication with clients and other service professionals to allow for customized and comprehensive financial solutions.
- Overseeing both Relationship Manager/Wealth Advisors and Assistant Relationship Managers primarily located in the Florida region.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of wealth experience managing and growing a UHNW client base required.
- Experience working with HNW/UHNW clients required.
- Series 65, 66 or Series 7 or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Designation or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Designation required.
- Strong visionary leadership, organizational, time management, change management, people management, process management, quality management, customer service, analytical, problem-solving, team orientation and strategic thinking skills.
