Judson Group has been retained by a fee-only RIA with a path to partnership in the search for a Senior Wealth Advisor – CFP. This individual will be taking over existing client relationships and will be responsible for formulating and implementing complex financial planning advice. The Senior Wealth Advisor is also expected to develop new client relationships and, in addition, serve as a technical resource to the firm and mentor/develop team members in client service delivery.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and 100% employee owned RIA that focuses on providing truly comprehensive wealth management services to their clients. Almost 50% of the firm’s employees are Partners. This role will be a great fit for a tenured advisor that is looking for a long-term home to continue to grow one’s career. The firm also offers the ability to work from home two days per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain client relationships, acting as the primary relationship manager for HNW clients.
  • Participate in business development initiatives through COIs, referrals, and community events.
  • Introduce financial plans to current and prospective HNW clients.
  • Prepare for and attend meetings with current clients and prospects.
  • Work with clients to ensure action items are thoroughly executed and documented.
  • Effectively communicate wealth strategy, planning solutions, and value proposition.
  • Gather client data including financial constraints and goals.
  • Work with various firm members to ensure the client’s financial needs are met.
  • Work with client support team to provide an exceptional client experience.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • CFP required.
  • 10+ years of experience with an investment consulting/management firm, family office, or RIA.
  • 1-3 years leading client relationships.
  • Experience with CRM, financial planning software, and portfolio accounting software.
  • Organized and detail oriented while managing and prioritizing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
