Judson Group has been retained by a growing wealth management organization to add a Director of Human Resources – Wealth/Financial Services to support the expansion of the organization. This individual will be responsible for working alongside leadership to develop and execute talent acquisition strategies, update growth path and compensation models, and manage general human resources functions. This is a great role for an individual with a strong HR and talent acquisition background, specifically those who have experience working for a wealth management firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day activities of the Human Resources Department and staff including Payroll Processing, Employee Benefits, Employee Onboarding and Offboarding, Employee Relations, Employee Administration, and Talent Acquisition.
- Maintain and communicate the Company’s personnel policies.
- Work alongside leadership to refine the performance appraisal process and develop training / CPE and leadership programs for employees.
- Perform compensation benchmarking and monitoring of trends to ensure competitive pay.
- Support efforts around community involvement, employee wellness and benefits and other programs to support culture across the organization.
- Maintain Human Resources systems currently being implemented in the firm to facilitate more efficient and effective Human Resources procedures.
- Act as primary contact for employees, managers, and attorneys in legal matters as they relate to Human Resources including employment, terminations, discrimination, benefit plans, etc.
Key Qualifications:
- 5+ year’s Human Resource experience required; industry specific experience required.
- Bachelor’s Degree required; HR certifications or designations highly preferred.
- Successful experience managing employee relations, various employee benefit programs, training functions, budgets, and confidential information.
- Strong knowledge of Human Resources Law and HRIS functions.
- Must have a positive supportive leadership style and able to build trust-based relationships.
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple constituents.
- Must embrace change and innovation, be a strong decision maker, and be results-oriented.
- Willingness to travel to partner locations for site visits and interaction with employees.
Compensation:
Competitive base salary with discretionary bonus
