Judson Group has partnered with a respected regional bank in the search for a SVP, Regional Retail Market Manager. This bank has a history of strong leadership and commitment to served markets. This ideal candidate will have experience in overseeing regional retail operations and leading retail banking objectives. This position reports to the EVP, Chief Retail Banking Officer.
This position is responsible for overall performance and environment of retail branches within assigned regions. This position leads, directs and manages branch teams in achieving profitability, sales, customer experience, compliance, and growth objectives within the region. Responsible for overall planning and performance in all the following functions within the region: business development, customer retention, customer experience, credit processes, service quality, community involvement, coaching and development of employees. Lead transformation of Retail Team to a sales culture. Ensures expansion and retention of customer base and development of customer relationships through cross-selling retail and small business banking products.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for regional retail branch teams, retail operations, and deposit operations.
- Responsible for retail banking sales performance through best practices, data and analytics, scorecards, reports, and delivery and sales process.
- Works together with branch management to develop sales goals and strategies to grow the branch profitability and effectiveness.
- Ensures branch productivity and compliance by reviewing all retail banking facets and implementing recommendations.
- Knowledgeable about each branches market and competition in that market. Ability to recognize unique opportunities within each market and works with the branch team to develop strategies to take advantage of these opportunities.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of financial experience.
- 5+ years’ experience in retail banking sales and operations.
- Successful track record leading teams through performance, productivity, efficiency, and compliance required.
- Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred.
- High energy, self-starter, and able to lead change.
