    Judson Group has partnered with a growing, national financial services firm in Westport, CT to add a Wealth Management – Investment Trader  to their team. This individual will be a member of the Investment Committee. The Director will handle all aspects of general trading for the firm. The ideal candidate will have strong equity and fixed income trade execution experience, investment analysis, and investment research experience. Must have experience with a rebalancer, like Tamarac.

    Responsibilities:

    • Operate the firm’s rebalancer to keep all accounts in line with their assigned models and strategy objectives.
    • Analyze and optimize the firm’s investment models daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly.
    • Consistently streamline trading processes and enhance automation solutions to mitigate risk and achieve scalability.
    • Monitor financial markets and serve as a resource on equity market conditions, shifting market structure dynamics, and new technology providers for the Trading and Portfolio Management teams.
    • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the investment platform at the manager and asset allocation level and be able to accurately articulate and implement this platform within client portfolios.
    • Converse with clients on request and provide exceptional client service whenever needed.
    • Maintain external relationships with brokers, vendors, third party providers as well as internal relationships with Investment Committee, CIO, Analysts, Client Relationship Managers, Portfolio Implementation, IT, Compliance, Marketing, Risk and Operations.
    • Responsible for all data and information entered into trading software, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
    • Ensures trading procedures are properly executed and that compliance policies are followed.
    • Participate in client/portfolio update meetings.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 3+ years of trading and rebalancing experience.
    • Bachelor’s degree; designations (CFA Level 1+) preferred.
    • Series 65.
    • Tamarac experience preferred. Rebalancing experience is a MUST.
    • Proficient with Bloomberg, FactSet, Morningstar.
    • Strong client service mentality.
    • Strong attention to detail, poised, organized, and keen sense of urgency.
    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

    Compensation:
    $130k – $150k
