    Judson Group has partnered with a leading independent fiduciary in the search for a Director of Financial Planning. This individual will play a leadership role for the financial planning department team with regards to all financial planning activities. They will be responsible for overall planner development, implementing the firm’s financial planning strategy through process/tool development, and expansion of the financial planning team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Effectively support financial planning team and manage the financial planning process to ensure timely, accurate, and quality client deliverables.
    • Serves as a financial planning expert for the firm, answering questions and training the client engagement team on common financial planning questions and processes.
    • Evaluate, design, and enhance the client experience through long-term strategic initiatives and recommendations with the client engagement team.
    • Oversees, reviews, and develops financial planning training objectives and guidelines.
    • Regularly partners with the firm’s Advisors and staff to ensure a cohesive and consistent financial planning experience for clients.
    • Serve as financial planning software expert (MoneyGuidePro and eMoney).
    • Lead the firm’s financial planning and wealth services team meetings.
    • Proactively network and represent the firm at various functions.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 8 years of financial planning experience.
    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field is required.
    • CFP designation required; CPA, CFA, MBA, JD desirable.
    • Extensive experience with tax planning, trusts, and estates.
    • Knowledge of financial services operational functions, terminology, and software.
    • High degree of customer service, confidentiality and urgency.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
