Judson Group has partnered with a growing, independently held RIA in the search for an Associate Financial Planner. This individual will be supporting the firm’s Advisors with paraplanning, financial planning and investment management responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have experience handling complex client transactions, preparing and presenting investment and financial planning recommendations and participating in client meetings.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Support the Advisors by handling the administrative aspects of financial planning during training phase.
- Learn all aspects of financial planning, investment management and tax services offered by firm.
- Help ensure workflows are organized, efficient, and aligned with service standards.
- Prepare income tax returns during tax season.
- Attend meetings held by the Advisors with clients and prospects, eventually conducting solo holistic financial planning meetings.
- Building and maintaining connections with centers of influence.
What We’re Looking For:
- CFP® or similar designation (completed or in progress).
- Enrolled Agent designation will be required after hire.
- 3+ years of experience with an investment consulting/management firm, family office, or RIA.
- Financial planning experience and the ability to develop financial planning analysis to support one’s advice.
- Strong working knowledge of investment concepts such as asset allocation and investment manager selection, along with a thorough understanding of tax consequences.
- Organized and detail oriented while managing and prioritizing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Adaptable to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
