They are known for delivering highly personalized, high-touch service to ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients and are seeking an experienced Family Wealth Strategist to play a lead role in client relationships, planning, and team leadership.
As a Family Wealth Strategist, you will serve as the primary architect and quarterback of the client experience. You’ll lead client engagements, provide comprehensive wealth and tax planning advice, and coordinate across disciplines to deliver fully integrated solutions. You will take ownership of existing UHNW client relationships while helping to retain, grow, and elevate the client base through exceptional service and thoughtful planning. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Serve as the primary advisor and trusted resource for UHNW clients.
- Build deep, long-term relationships with clients, focused on retention and growth.
- Lead client meetings, ensuring a high-quality experience and timely follow-through on all action items.
- Design, prepare, and deliver comprehensive financial plans, identifying and prioritizing key strategies.
- Implement and oversee investment portfolios aligned with the firm’s investment philosophy and client goals.
- Provide guidance across a wide range of planning areas, including wealth and tax planning, retirement, estate planning, cash flow, asset protection, philanthropy, and financial literacy.
- Coordinate with clients’ external advisors (CPAs, attorneys, trustees) to deliver integrated solutions.
- Support tax-related work, including planning strategies and preparation or review of tax and trust returns.
- Lead, mentor, and help train Family Wealth Advisors and other team members.
- Utilize financial planning and CRM tools (eMoney, Salesforce, Tamarac, and Microsoft Office) to support client service and team coordination.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree required; business or finance preferred.
- 10+ years of client-facing wealth management or financial advisory experience, ideally with UHNW clients.
- Advanced designations strongly preferred: CFP® (highly desired), CFA, CPA/PFS, JD, or LLM.
- Strong background in wealth and tax planning; tax experience is a significant plus.
- Proven ability to take on lead advisory responsibilities and manage complex client relationships.
- Experience across multiple planning disciplines, including investment, retirement, tax, estate, and cash flow planning.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Confident communicator who builds trust quickly and works well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
