Judson Group has been retained by a dynamic and growth-oriented independent RIA with $1.5B in AUM in the search for a Director of Performance Reporting – Wealth Management. The firm serves affluent individuals, families, and private and public sector organizations and is looking for a strong reporting and analytics leader to help guide and grow the Firm.
The Director of Performance Reporting will have responsibility for the management, maintenance, and enhancement of the Firm’s reporting system with support from team members to ensure accurate quarterly and ad hoc reports and timely billing. The ideal candidate will have experience handling all facets of complex reporting and data sets within an RIA setting. Candidates without strong experience using Addepar will not be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the Firm’s performance reporting system which shall include:
- Administrative settings (Firm classification schema, attributes/tags, target allocations, benchmarks)
- Custodial data feeds from Firm custodians and outside custodians.
- Display/Branding/Portal settings as well as Firm users, roles, teams and security groups to Firm specifications.
- Account, client, and group setup so that all data flows appropriately for client reporting.
- Fee schedule creation and assignment, and Firm client billing.
- External Integrations, as required.
- Creation of manual assets (Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Private Assets, etc) as well as transactions and pricing for same.
- Direct and manage the preparation of all client performance material with monthly and quarterly deliverables
- Review all client and internal fund performance material, ensuring 1) accuracy and 2) adhesion to reporting principles and practices are met
- Perform data integrity research, troubleshooting, and report configuration
- Assist Compliance function with running various reports to help prepare SEC regulatory filings and reports
- Oversee and provide guidance on initial client onboarding/offboarding to performance system
- Support appropriate departments with ad-hoc performance data requests, including marketing material and proprietary fund reporting
- Collaborate with team members to identify new efficiencies and improved processes for current workflows
Requirements:
- Minimum of five years of performance reporting experience within an RIA.
- Minimum of two years of Addepar experience required.
- Strong understanding of creating and interpreting performance reports for client portfolios, including public and private investments.
- Ability to deal with large data sets and data feeds from multiple sources and compile into a software system with minimal error.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact up, down, and across the Firm.
- Exceptional level of accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
Compensation: Strong base salary, bonus, and benefits package
