Judson Group has partnered with a growing wealth management firm in the search for a Associate Research Analyst. This individual will be primarily responsible for the analysis of the fundamental outlook for companies and an assessment of equity valuation.  They will also be responsible for producing recommendations for stock purchases/sales and providing input utilized in the portfolio construction process.

Responsibilities:

• Perform traditional, fundamental security analysis of companies and their markets, through analysis of financial statements, review of outside research, and interaction with company and industry contacts
• Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of assigned sectors/industries
• Develop an understanding of a large number of companies within assigned sectors
• Develop and maintain a recommended list within assigned sectors/industries and actively make recommendations for the equity portfolios
• Educate and influence others through written and oral presentations on assigned coverage area
• Provide input and guidance on macroeconomic environment and portfolio construction
• Promote and maintain frequent interaction with Portfolio Managers
• Provide input and expertise in developing new products to meet client needs

Requirements:

• BA/BS Degree
• 3+ years of research analyst experience
• CFA designation or progress toward CFA designation strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of fiduciary policies and requirements
• Organized and detail oriented while managing and prioritizing multiple tasks simultaneously
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, demanding environment

Compensation:
Commensurate with experience.
