Judson Group has been retained by an RIA with over $600MM AUM in their search for an Associate Wealth Advisor. This individual will support the firm’s senior leadership by taking over existing client relationships and leading on new client relationships. They will be responsible for developing financial plans, managing client relationships, reviewing portfolio performance with clients, and performing research regarding complex client issues.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of client facing wealth management experience with a strong background in financial planning and a high attention to detail. This person will need to be a team player who has the desire/ability to work successfully in a small company environment and should have strong client facing skills. There is tremendous ability for growth in both the medium and long term for the individual who fills this role; they will be on the path to becoming a Lead Advisor over time.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all client meetings, leading when appropriate.
  • Handle client-related requests and account service inquiries without advisor input.
  • For new clients, assist with data collection and input into financial planning software.
  • Organize and analyze financial data received from new and existing clients.
  • Formulate financial plans and strategies for clients (give advice).
  • Assist clients with implementation of recommended and agreed-upon strategies.
  • Generate reports and other deliverables for both client-facing and back-office needs.
  • Work together to transfer existing clients, freeing up senior team members to continue to drive growth and direction of the firm.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; CFP or CFA highly preferred.
  • Experience developing, positioning, and presenting comprehensive financial planning strategies in an easy-to-understand manner to clients required.
  • Ability to provide high level of authentic service and compassion to client relationships.
  • Previous experience inputting and managing client case work within CRM database.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate/communicate well in a team environment.
