Judson Group has partnered with a dynamic, fast-growing independent Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firm in the search for an Operations Manager – Wealth Management. With $1.9B in AUM and a strong reputation for serving affluent individuals, families, and both public and private organizations, this firm is on a mission to scale sustainably — and they’re looking for an experienced operations leader to help guide that growth.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead and mentor a team of four Client Service professionals; ensure operational alignment with the Investment Operations team.
  • Serve as a strategic resource and point of coordination across multiple custodians and data providers (e.g., Schwab, Fidelity).
  • Oversee the day-to-day, monthly, and annual operations to ensure timeliness, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Operations to refine, implement, and scale processes across client onboarding, account maintenance, CRM workflows, and reconciliation functions.
  • Partner with the Reporting team to ensure accurate, timely delivery of client data and performance reports.
  • Monitor team performance, training, and capacity to ensure a high-functioning service culture.
  • Evaluate and enhance operational systems and the firm’s tech stack to streamline workflows and increase efficiencies.
  • Act as a senior liaison with custodial partners, serving as the escalation point for client and advisor-related issues.
  • Maintain and optimize dashboards, KPIs, and internal metrics to assess and improve firm-wide operations.
  • Support strategic initiatives including client segmentation, service model refinement, and scalability planning.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 7+ years of RIA or wealth management operations experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Expertise with custodial platforms (Schwab, Fidelity, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of CRM and financial planning software (Salesforce and Addepar preferred).
  • Exceptional Excel skills and overall Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Proven leadership experience and a track record of building or scaling operational workflows.
  • Strategic thinker who can simplify complexity and drive execution.
  • Excellent communicator who can lead across teams and collaborate with senior executives.
