Judson Group has partnered with a leading $29B+ national RIA in their search of an Associate Wealth Advisor – Business Development to join their Business Development team. As an Associate Wealth Advisor, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving new business initiatives and supporting Senior Wealth Advisors. You’ll work at the heart of client engagement and business development—coordinating communications, nurturing relationships, and helping convert prospects into long-term clients.

You’ll serve as a bridge between Senior Advisors, custodians, centers of influence, and prospective clients. This position is designed for someone who thrives on collaboration, is motivated by growth, and wants to advance in their role—eventually managing your own client pipeline and closing new business.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Initiate daily outreach to centers of influence and new referrals, collecting key background details, tracking interactions in Salesforce, and coordinating introductions with Advisors.
  • Participate in prospect and client meetings to learn firsthand how to manage relationships, conduct discovery conversations, and lead meetings.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with custodial partners to enhance referral flow and new business opportunities.
  • Deliver prompt, professional follow-ups after meetings, providing updates on next steps and ensuring seamless communication across teams.
  • Collaborate on proposal creation, meeting materials, and supporting documentation to ensure flawless execution.
  • Work closely with tax, investment, and business development teams to implement strategies, manage liquidity, and support fundraising for alternative investments.
  • Engage in firm-provided training programs to master the art of relationship-building and sales excellence.
  •  Respond to client inquiries same-day, upholding the firm’s high standard of professionalism and responsiveness.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 1+ year of experience in financial services or a related field.
  • 1+ year of experience supporting a sales function—or a clear passion for pursuing a career in sales.
  • Series 65 (or equivalent) required within a designated timeframe (CFP® exempt).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Salesforce preferred.
