Judson Group has been retained by a growing wealth management firm in the search for a Financial Advisor to develop and manage client relationships. This individual is responsible for business development/new client acquisition and advising HNW clients through comprehensive investment management and financial planning.
The ideal candidate has a strong ability to build a wider network of clients through COIs, niche markets, and referrals.
Responsibilities:
- Source new clients, new business opportunities, and other niche markets.
- Maintain client communication and share relevant information about market updates to may affect their investments.
- Advise clients on a variety of financial matters including preparation of individualized wealth management plans.
- Prepare client financial plans and documents for client meetings.
- Attend client meetings and develop and maintain long-term client relationships.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of direct experience in business development or sales role.
- Experience as a financial advisor/planner.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Series 65 preferred.
- CFP, CIMA desired.
- Desired traits include client service mentality, self-starter, and sense of urgency.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
