Judson Group has been retained by a highly regarded fee-only RIA with a national presence in the search for a Senior Wealth Advisor – CFP. This individual will be handling financial planning, retirement planning, and investment management for approximately 150 of the firm’s clients as well as managing the day-to-day relationships and participating in/conducting client meetings for current and prospective clients.

The ideal candidate will be planning focused, have the ability to lead relationships, and will place client service ahead of all other responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain client relationships.
  • Introduce financial planning, estate, tax, and retirement plans to prospective clients.
  • Attend meetings with clients and prospects.
  • Work with clients to ensure action items are thoroughly executed and documented.
  • Gather client data including financial constraints and goals.
  • Manage account administration, cash flow, and all financial/retirement planning inquiries.
  • Implementing recommendations and strategies with assistance from support staff.
  • Schedule financial planning reviews, implementing as necessary.
  • Work with client support team to provide an exceptional client experience.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • CFP required; Series 65 required (or obtained within six months of employment)
  • 5+ years of experience with an investment consulting/management firm, family office, or RIA.
  • Strong business development track record required.
  • Experience with CRM, financial planning software, and portfolio accounting software.
  • Organized and detail oriented while managing and prioritizing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
