Judson Group is working with a rapidly growing RIA in their search for a Client Service Manager. This individual will be responsible for building and maintaining deep relationships with the firm’s clients and supporting the advisors with operations and client service functions. This includes managing client service functions including account openings/transfers, maintenance and record of cash flows, and being a proactive line of support for the client, advisors and client service team.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in a client service role, will appreciate working in a fun, but focused culture, and has a service mentality when dealing with the firm’s clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor and support a team of seasoned client service professionals
  • Communicate closely with third-party accountants and attorneys, custodian representatives, software support, and other vendors
  • Help with the flow of operations to offer the highest level of customer service
  • Maintain accounts for clients including new account documentation and transfers
  • Handle client account questions and following up on requested deliverables
  • Manage the client onboarding process
  • Maintain accuracy, compliance, and security of client data
  • Assist client meetings, issuing client communications, and oversee client service efforts
  • Prepare various reports for client reviews and other miscellaneous meetings
  • Develop new ways to continuously provide the best service and operations to the firm’s clients

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5+ years of experience working in an RIA or family office environment
  • Experience successfully completing paperwork for new accounts, handling client requests, and client communications
  • Knowledge of back-office operations of a financial planning and investment management firm
  • Excellent technology skills
  • Strong client-facing skills/experience
