Judson Group has been engaged by an independent boutique wealth management firm in the search for a Wealth Advisor. This individual will support Senior Wealth Advisors by participating in client meetings, assisting with the development of investment and financial planning strategies, and ensuring a top-notch client service experience.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of client facing wealth management experience with a strong background in financial planning. This person will need to be a team player, with strong relationship skills who has the desire/ability to work successfully in a small company environment where it is expected that you will wear many hats with varied responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Client relationship management for HNW/UHNW clients, including ongoing and regular client contact and communications.
  • Articulate the firm’s philosophy, approach and process to clients and prospective clients.
  • Participate in client service meetings and ensure follow up items are accomplished.
  • Comprehensive financial planning including coordination of asset management, estate and tax planning, and risk management.
  • Assisting with client asset management, including coordination of complete financial planning and wealth management (analysis, estate planning, tax strategies for assets under management, and portfolio management)
  • Collaborate with clients’ CPAs, estate planning attorneys and other professionals to ensure their holistic wealth management strategies are implemented.
  • Document client communications and interactions in a timely manner.
  • Continue wealth education by attending sessions/courses and represent the firm at industry and community events.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • CFP required. CIMA, ChFC, CFA, or CPA also desirable.
  • 7+ years of experience in financial services/RIA environment.
  • Experience with holistic financial planning required.
  • Client facing experience required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and listening skills.
  • Detail-oriented focus and a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to recognize and empathize with a given client situation.
