Known for thoughtful, relationship-driven advice and a loyal, growing client base, this firm is expanding its leadership team with a dynamic Director of Tax Services.

- Design and implement scalable processes that elevate tax planning and compliance efficiency.
- Oversee relationships with outside tax firms, ensuring alignment and quality standards.
- Review outsourced individual, trust, and business tax returns for accuracy and regulatory adherence.
- Provide proactive business tax planning, including partnership taxation, S corporation matters, and pass-through optimization.
- Collaborate on business exit and liquidity event strategies, including valuation, structuring, and tax deferral planning.
- Advise on state and local tax considerations impacting complex client situations.
- Partner with wealth advisors to uncover planning opportunities—entity selection, income deferral, gifting strategies, and more.
- Participate in client and prospect meetings as the firm’s senior tax resource, translating complex concepts into actionable strategies.
- Support estate, gift, and philanthropic planning alongside the Advanced Planning team.
- Mentor and develop a growing team of tax professionals, fostering collaboration and professional growth.

- Active CPA license required; CFA, JD, Tax LLM, Master of Taxation, and/or CFP® designation a plus.
- Deep expertise reviewing income, gift, and estate tax returns and advising on intergenerational wealth transfer strategies.
- Strong technical knowledge paired with the ability to communicate complex tax concepts clearly and confidently.
- Experience with modern tax compliance software and enthusiasm for leveraging technology to improve efficiency.
- A client-first mindset and passion for collaboration.
- Exceptional communication, organization, and project management skills.
