Judson Group has partnered with a privately held wealth management firm with an excess of $10B AUM in the search for a Managing Director/Lead Advisor focused on working with clients with complex planning needs. The firm is known for its collaborative approach and excellent client service capabilities for clients with net worth $5MM and above.

The ideal candidate has a strong investment background, knowledge of UHNW wealth planning strategies, and a proven track record of business development. The Managing Director will be responsible for maintaining assigned client relationships and also growing his or her client base through both client referrals and external networking.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Responsible for satisfaction and retention of the firm’s wealth management clients.
  • Responsible for developing comprehensive financial plans and long-term investment strategies.
  • Strong business development skills required.
  • 10+ years of wealth experience managing and growing a HNW client base required.
  • Experience working with clients with $5MM+ investable assets preferred.
  • Strong credentials including CFA, CPA, JD, CFP, and MBA preferred.


  • Base salary competitive with current base and experience level.
  • Bonus potential based on individual goals and company performance.
  • Payout on first year’s fees for new assets with other incentives paid on current client base and profitability.
