Judson Group has been retained by a fee-only financial planning and investment management firm in the search for a Financial Advisor – CFP due to exceptional firm growth. This individual will support the firm’s growth by taking over existing and future client relationships. This individual will be responsible for developing financial plans, managing client relationships, reviewing portfolio performance with clients, and performing research regarding complex client issues.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of client facing wealth management experience with a strong background in financial planning and a high attention to detail. This person will need to be a team player who has the desire/ability to work successfully in a small company environment and should have strong client facing skills. This position will initially work alongside a lead advisor and then transition into leading clients.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in all client meetings, leading when appropriate.
• Handle client-related requests and account service inquiries without advisor input.
• For new clients, assist PM with data collection and input into financial planning software.
• Organize and analyze financial data received from new and existing clients.
• Formulate financial plans and strategies for clients (give advice).
• Assist clients with implementation of recommended and agreed-upon strategies.
• Generate reports and other deliverables for both client-facing and back-office needs.
• Work with clients to ensure action items are thoroughly executed and documented.
• Embrace investment strategy of the firm and provide investment education and recommendations.
• Work together to transfer existing clients, freeing up the founder to continue to drive growth and direction of the firm.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree required; CFP required.
• 5+ years’ experience developing, positioning, and presenting comprehensive financial planning strategies in an easy-to-understand manner to clients required.
• Ability to provide high level of authentic service and compassion to client relationships.
• Servant leader and willing to go above and beyond to serve clients.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate/communicate well in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented focus and a professional demeanor.
