Judson Group has partnered with a successful investment advisory firm that currently manages an excess of $3B in client assets in the search for a Financial Advisor. This individual will work closely with a Senior Partner at the firm to transition a large number of existing $1-3M relationships to create capacity. The ideal candidate has experience as the lead advisor on HNW client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as lead advisor for $1-3MM relationships.
- Actively lead client meetings and develop and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Responsible for overseeing administrative staff in opening new accounts, monitoring and rebalancing client portfolios, raising funds for cash needs, preparation of asset allocation charts, and running portfolio reviews.
- Responsible for thorough knowledge of client portfolios and accounts.
- Prepare client financial plans and documents for client meetings, ensuring compliance and objectives are met.
- Serve as a “second chair” advisor to UHNW relationships, working alongside a senior advisor.
Requirements:
- 5+ years investment/wealth management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree and CFP strongly preferred; must sit for exam within 18 months of hire.
- Experience leading client meetings.
- Individual income tax background preferred.
- Candidate will be required to pass the Series 7 and 66.
- Desired traits include client service mentality, self-starter, and sense of urgency.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
