After graduating summa cum laude from Western Michigan University with a degree in German and French, Deb moved to Berlin, Germany, where she spent thirteen years. During that time, she worked for international firms doing administrative work, translation and even voice-overs for a computerized emergency action system used on ships. Upon returning to the US in late 2005, she joined Management Recruiters of Grand Rapids to manage our office. With the office growing from eight employees to over 20 in just two years, Deb was asked to take over operations in October 2007.
Deb enjoys the fast-pace of the office: “Every minute our professionals are not on the phone, our business slows down. I like to keep things running smoothly so their time is spent with clients and candidates, not with administrative tasks.”
Her outside interests include running a local art house film series as well as a drum circle featuring African Drums.
